Asian Vermicelli Pasta Salad Recipe

This is spice Asian salad recipe which I tried in a local eatery here. It's a great side dish that goes along well with Asian food and a nice, different change from regular salads. A good way to mix up the dinner routine but be warned some of those peppers are spicy.

Asian Vermicelli Pasta Salad Recipe Ingredients

3 cups Asian Vermicelli
1 cup halved cherry tomatoes
3 cups sliced papaya
3 green or red peppers, crushed
3 tbsp soy sauce
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 tbsp olive oil

Asian Vermicelli Tip

vermicelli is a thinner, longer noodle, that can be broken in half before boiling to create shorter strands. For a less spice taste, use no peppers or only 1.

Asian Vermicelli Pasta Salad Recipe Directions

First boil the vermicelli and drain after the noodles are soft. In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, and crushed peppers together and mix very well. In a large bowl combine the vermicelli with the cherry tomatoes and papaya and mix very well. Pour the soy sauce dressing over the vermicelli and mix some more. Serve as is or refrigerate and serve later.
