Yum Asian Chicken Salad Recipe

I tried this delicious chicken salad recipe from a friend and was so hooked on the great taste that I learned how to cook it myself. The meat used can either be pork or chicken but I prefer chicken. The Yum Chicken Asian salad is easy to make and most of the ingredients can be found at major grocery stores that have an Asian ingredients section.

Yum Chicken Asian Salad Recipe Ingredients

1/2 pound boneless chicken breast(cut into 1 inch strips)
1 tsp sugar
3 cloves minced garlic
2 heads of romaine lettuce chopped
2 tomatoes, sliced
1 tsp soy sauce
1 tsp oyster sauce
1/4 cup chopped cilantro
1/4 cup chopped parsley
5 hard boiled eggs
2 cucumbers, sliced


Yum Asian Chicken Tip

There is no need for ranch dressing here, as the egg yolk dressing is very tasty and goes along very well with the different ingredients. For a little spice taste, add some paprika and cummin to the mixture.


Yum Chicken Asian Salad Recipe Directions

In a large salad bowl combine the lettuce, tomatoe slices, cucumber slices, cilantro, and parsley together and refrigerate for 20 minutes. Separate the egg whites and egg yolks and divide the egg whites into sections. In a small skillet, saute the chicken breast in a little vegetable oil. Add the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sugar to the chicken breast and continue to stir. Now add the egg yolks and mash them into the sauce. Once the chicken breast are done, add them to the salad bow and mix very well. Add the juice from the saute onto the salad and mix. Add a twist of lime and enjoy.
